| Step 1
A. Affix postage to Mail piece to cover First Class postage, certified fee, return receipt fee and charges for any selected optional services.
B. Using you word-processing software or the Walz Postal Software complete the information for Label #1, #2 and #3. Don’t forget to fill out the "TO","SENDER" and "REFERENCE" portion of SECTION A.
C. Feed the Walz Certified Mailer form through the manual feed drawer of you laser jet printer.
Step 2
A. Detach the Certified Mail end of the form and attach the gummed Return Receipt Requested Certified Mail label to the letter or package.
B. OPTIONAL USES for SECTION B:
- Departmental/User Charge back: Detach SECTION B at perforations. Enter appropriate charge back fee in "Charge Amount" area. Enter file, case matter, or department in "Charge To" area. Forward appropriate accounting function.
- Use with USPS Firm Mailing Book (3877): Detach SECTION B, insert between envelope and "Return Receipt", and send to your Mail center. Mail center staff places Labels #4 and #% in "Firm Mailing Book of Accountable Mail".
Step 3
A. Detach the Domestic Return Receipt portion of the form (See instructions below on the back view of the form) and peel off the removable liners to expose the adhesive.
B. Attach to letter or package. Your item is now ready for delivery to the post office.
